Immerse ATL
Katie Messina was chosen to an Immerse ATL Dancer for the 2018-2019 season. Designed as a program bridging the border between college and the professional world, Immerse ATL offered Katie the chance to perform Sarah Hillmer’s piece frameshift multiple times around Atlanta. Katie was also chosen to work alongside staibdance in Moat at Columbia Seminary and in works by peer's Laura Briggs and Patsy Collins. She was also asked to present a solo and group work at their showcase, and invited back to perform during the 2019-2020 season in guest work, and the 2020-2021 season to teach and lead an artist talk.
